College Financial Planning: Seeing the Whole Picture

College Savings Foundation Conference

The College Savings Foundation Conference

Theme: College Financial Planning — Seeing the Whole Picture
With the rising cost of college, many Americans are asking why they need to go to college. College provides students with opportunity, knowledge and experience. The importance of a college education today can be compared to that of a high school education forty years ago. It provides access to better options and more opportunity throughout their lives.

The cost of college is rising while incomes are not necessarily doing the same. Many parents and students are looking for ways to cover these increasing costs. The College Savings Foundation Conference will explore the various facets of college financing. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn from and network with panelists and others about college financing options, including saving in a 529 plan.

Who Should Attend

The conference is open to everyone with a desire to learn more about current issues in 529 college savings plans, including program managers; investment managers; State Treasurers; state sponsors and representatives; senior managers at broker-dealers; law firms; not-for-profits; those involved in the higher education industry; current and potential vendors and financial advisors and planners.
